Navy Women in 1917

The last few days of This Day in US Navy History had an interesting theme among some of the bullets: Women. On 21March1917, Loretta Walsh became the first female Navy Petty Officer when she was sworn in as a Chief Yeoman (link).  She was also the first woman allowed to serve in any of the US Armed Forces as anything but a Nurse (link). Cash for Clunkers part 2

I have received a lot of response about my Cash for Clunkers post from Tuesday.  In addition to the post here, I posted on Cincinnati.com (link) where I have received the most comments. As all of America knows, the government currently has a Cash for Clunkers program (http://www.cars.gov) allowing people to purchase more fuel efficient cars at a discount when they trade in their used very not fuel efficient cars. Sarah Palin is writing her memoirs

At first I was only going to give my thoughts to this news of Sarah Palin writing her memoirs through a tweet, but I quickly realized that I couldn't just use 140 characters. No Consequence Predictions
