I found the site: seedspill.com and decided to check my website’s rank (via Alexa ranking). We made top 15M! They gave me a neat banner to share my joy with everyone.

In the ENTIRE world!

This made me curious as to whether or not I could find a website that was ranked less than mine (but a real site and within the ranks of this system). Here are the results of my search:

Google.com #1
Bing.com #37
Amazon.com #32
Asdf.com 197,956
Erf.com (yes, 3 random characters) #5,343,718
Aaaaaaaa.com (yes, just a random number of a’s) #5,032,929
Jacemusic.com (some musician that has my same first/last name) > #25,000,000 (not within ranking system)
Nonesense.com #10,826,025 (getting closer!)
Name.org #12,679,214 (maybe I should stay away from .com!)

Let it be known that it is very difficult to search for a not highly ranked site. I tried searching on very small topic areas (or so I thought). I tried sites specific to “sand art“, “australian spiders“, and “unknown programming languages“. I tried sites on the front page Google results. I tried going 10 pages back. I tried going 20 pages back … nothing!

I assume that Alexa ranks the top 25,000,000 sites but I just couldn’t find any between 13,126,790 and 25,000,000.
